Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar

Alongside Read Write Inc, spelling patterns are also taught using the programme 'Spelling Shed'. Children are set weekly spellings based on what they have been taught in the classroom and they are then able to practise these online at home using their own unique log in. This programme is in line with the National Curriculum for spelling.  
Grammar and punctuation is taught using the 'Grammarsaurus Place Value of Grammar and Punctuation', as well as through discrete lessons. Skills match that of the National Curriculum.
